Crafty!

So, we recently discovered that the only way I can really deal with stress is with sugary treats and movies. Well, since sugar is none too healthy and Brian is trying to ween me off of watching movies on Sunday, I have started trying to channel my stress into crafts.

Chantel Magistro and I are working on some surprise presents for our buddies Jana Grass, Kari Iroz, Jyllian Petrie and Ashley Grant. They are all having birthdays within about 10 days of each other and we decided to turn it into a birthday bash extravaganza! Woot! So, we have been working on these four surprises for them, and they are turning out better than I think either of us imagined. I can't mention what they are, as that would ruin the surprise if any of them found out. But, there will be pictures posted soon.

Anyway, the whole point of this post was to get some ideas out of you guys. I need some crafts to work on so I can channel my stress away from sugar and tv. Suggestions? Please respond post haste!

New Wallet

So, I have been wanting to do this for a long time now, and Brian was gone all weekend, so, needless to say, I had some time to kill. Here is how I spent my time... This wallet was... Let's just say, not my style before I fixed it. :)

I am going to make a matching Frank Sinatra purse with my mother-in-law! Woot!

Blanket Rack

So, the one thing Brian I have noticed we have a plethora of is blankets. So, we were planning on using one of our Bed, Bath and Beyond gift cards to get one, however, the blanket racks there are at least $60... So, I am here to ask you crafty peoples... Any ideas? I am super tired of the pile o' blankets at the foot of our bed.

Ok guys, here is my newly improved blog. I'm sure this is something like blog number 3 or 4 for me... But, this is the current one and the one you should follow. Yay!

I am going to go through some old pictures of the family and such and put up a few. Mostly just the super funny ones I find. Or even the really cool ones. We will see. Also, it will give a chance to put up my new photo shoots. Woot!
